Welcome to the Mountains of My Imagination

Hey friends,

I can’t tell you how excited (and a little nervous) I am to finally welcome you to my official author blog. If you’ve found your way here, thank you. Truly. Whether you’re a lifelong reader, a lover of all things spooky, or someone who just wandered in by accident… I’m glad you’re here.

This space is where the mountains and mysteries in my mind get a little room to breathe.

Why I Write the Way I Do

My stories are stitched together from the quiet places most folks overlook — the hollers where fog moves like it has a pulse, the old wives’ tales you hear at the barbershop, and the dreams that yank you awake at 3 a.m. I’m a small-town West Virginia girl through and through, and everything I write carries a little piece of home. Appalachia has a magic all its own — a kind that’s beautiful, eerie, and heart-tugging all at once.

That’s what I try to capture on the page:

the wonder, the whispers, and the weird.

What You Can Expect Here

This blog will be the behind-the-scenes cabin light on my creative path. Here’s what I’ll be sharing:

Updates on my books — like The Mystery of Cerise Falls and Hatched from a Chicken Egg

Sneak peeks of upcoming stories, drafts, characters, and world-building

Author life moments — the funny, the chaotic, the “this is definitely going in a book later” kind of days

Writing thoughts & Appalachian inspiration

Real-life tidbits from the nurse, mom, and maker behind the pen

It’s a mix of cozy, creepy, heartfelt, and humorous — just like the stories themselves.

A Thank-You From the Heart

Starting this author journey has been a wild blend of dream-come-true and “what on earth am I doing?” But the support I’ve already felt from friends, family, and brand-new readers means more than I can say.

If you stick around, I promise you stories full of mystery, goosebumps, and heart.

Let’s Explore These Mountain Tales Together

Feel free to comment, reach out, or share your own spooky small-town stories — I’d love to hear them. And keep an eye out: new updates, book progress, and fun surprises are coming every week.

Thanks for walking this path with me.

Stay spooky, stay curious,

Tibbi Ann Hardix
